So how does all of this work?
We begin with a 30 minute phone consultation so you get a feel for how we work and we can understand more about your needs. This is an opportunity for you to ask anything you want and also to address concerns about what you are going through, the therapeutic process, financials, etc.

Having the opportunity to speak to a professional – free of charge – for a half hour is invaluable. It’s an opportunity to see if working together would be a good fit. You will immediately get the sense that we are passionate and understanding. Our therapists aim to offer concrete skills and care in every session.
The Road Map
When you come in for the initial intake we meet for 1.5 hours. We will get a history of your experience, assess your current place in life and also get a sense of who you are as a person. As that is happening our first action together is to coordinate a treatment plan guided by scientifically based first-line treatments while maintaining your integrity and tailoring the plan to your unique situation.
Therapy is problem solving.
We will discuss your goals and intentions for entering therapy. We will discuss this together and we will help you set up a framework of understanding so you already feel comfortable on the first day.
Research shows that talk therapy is the best path to resolution.
We not only act as a therapist, but we are also your advocate and go-to person for the support and direction you want to take. You will learn to address and accomplish your goals. We will make sure you have all the necessary components to strengthening your life.

We will collaborate with your primary care physician and associated providers to assure stability along the way and appropriate therapeutic treatment based on your history and needs.
Additionally, we have a wide array of resources available including doctors, dietitians, books, articles, programming and other means to help you if called upon. We will make sure to go to whatever length it takes to help you feel secure and supported as you work to achieve your goals.
