The Institute for Child and Adolescent Eating Disorders has certified Brian Pollack as the first and only male therapist in NJ whom has received the certification proven necessary in the treatment for young adolescents (10+) to assist therapeutically in the symptoms of anorexia, bulimia, ARFID, binge eating and other disorders surrounding food through an added intervention system called Family Based Treatment for Eating Disorders.
The Institute for Child and Adolescent Eating Disorders is a rigorous evidence based training that creates a re-connection with food and family offering a strong empathic and psychoeducational approach towards the the treatment and recovery of eating disorders.

Besides the CEDS (Certified Eating Disorder Specialist) delineation, Brian continues to focus on the full spectrum of ages and disorders related to food and body disturbances, helping push the forefront of eating disorder care facing our youngest generations.
